New Product – Drawstring bags

Monday, December 6th, 2010

I have developed a new drawstring bag in two sizes. The little bag is perfect for carrying the essentials with you, such as a mobile phone, your wallet, sunglasses etc. The larger bag is big enough to carry a packed lunch or books- as well as the usual handbag contents.

The drawstrings pull the bag closed, and become the carrying handles suitable to be worn over the shoulder, or able to be doubled up to be carried by hand.

The purple koala bag is one of the small bags, it measures 17cm (7″) high when sitting upright, and 20 cm (8″) wide when flattened, when opened out its sides measures 9 cm (3.5″).

This particular bag has a screen printed koala design in the front panel, and the other three panels are commercial fabric.

The bag with the screen printed gecko design on black fabric is one of the larger bags. They measure 24 cm (9.5″) high when sitting upright, 29 cm (11.5″) across when flattened and when opened out its sides measure 14 cm (5.5″).

All bags, of both sizes, have a design (be it screen printed or appliqued) on the front panel, commercial fabrics on the other three panels and two long drawstrings to pull the bag closed and act as handles.

I have chosen high quality cotton fabrics to complement my designs.

All bags are fully lined with cotton fabrics and have a layer of man-made batting.

Some drawstring cords are polyester and some are cotton, all are strong and durable.

All bags are designed, sewn and created by me.
